Capture Stills From Tape? Within VidCap?

I can ss the Transport option in VidCap, the Ctrl+Shift+R, but that does only one jpg. What can I do to run the tape, Pause, Capture JPG and then run on? All I'm getting at the moment is a Captured still and I then get an exit of VidCap? What have I missed?

I REALLLLLyyy don't wont to load a WHOLE tape onto timeline and then collect images. Anything easy in Vid Cap?

Not sure what the difficulty is. I pause, Ctrl+R to capture a still, name it, then play until the next image i wanna capture. No problems. If i choose not to name a still it just gets the previous name with the 3 digit suffix incremented. What is happening differently for you?

I may be missing something 'cause i don't know what you mean by "ss".
