Capture using DVC90

I can't get Movie Studio 8 (with d update) to recognize the Dazzle DVC 90 capture device.

I have the predecessor to this program on the same computer before Sony bought it (Nova Video Explosion) and that program has no problem with it.

Any solutions or similiar problems out there?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know it will only recognized firewire devices.

You can use other software that *does* recognize the Dazzle to import .. then load that file into Vegas.

But then why do I need Vegas?
Do you think version 9 has the same problem?
