a friend of mine has an analog camcorder and wants to capture video from it using his video and sound card. he used windvd that came with his dvd burner and the video looks fine, but the audio is very noisy.

he wants to know if vegas can capture using this setup? if so, how? i didn't know, so i told him i would post it here for him. i've only captured using firewire.
