What exactly do you mean by "capture"? Are you capturing DV video or from SDI sources?

I am trying to capture DV video from my Sony digital 8 camcorder connected to my computer by firewire. The connection is working great but when i capture the clips are always going to my documents folder on my C drive (smaller solid state drive) but i want to direct them to my D drive a large raid array drive.
