Capture Video from Windows Media Player

When you play .wav's in Windows Media Player you get some nice video effects on the skin. Is there any way to capture that video into Vegas Video? I've thought about ways to run the video out of one computer and into the video capture card of another computer, but I haven't developed a specific plan. Perhaps there is a relatively easy way to do this.

Maybe you can set up video out to a camera then set media player to full screen and capture it on the cameras tape. then you could play that back into Vegas capture.

Thanks for the camera idea....it hadn't crossed my mind, but I think it's an excellent strategy.

It's not a "movie," He's referring to WMP's visulization feature. You play an audio file, and WMP produces squiggling lines and such on the fly based on the audio's tempo, volume, etc. Most software-based audio players have a feature like this.

Anyhow, it's not something you can "open" because it only exists while you're playing the audio file. I'd recommend a screen capture utility like Camtasia.
