Capture with DSR-11from DVCPRO media

Does the DSR-11 have a problem capturing DVCPRO tape? I am using Vegas 5, and I can capture all of my mini-dv tapes. However someone gave me several DVCPRO tapes and I cannot capture to my machine. Any ideas or suggestions? Is there an compatibility issue?

Not a snowballs chance in hell!
Assuming of course that what's recorded on them is DVCPRO and not DVCAM. And another thing and I don't know the specifics here but I do recall something about DVCPRO and DVCAM using a different tape formulation and one or the other is very bad for the heads of the other one.
So to answer your question, there's a few compatibility issues.
And just to make it even harder for you not many DVCPRO decks have firewire and a few that do don't feed DV 25 down it!
Maybe Barry can fill you in with more details.
I think Panasonic had talked about a deck that'd convert DVCPRO (25) to DV25 and feed it down 1394 but last time we checked it got scrapped I thought.
