Capture won't work in SF Capture software

I'm sure this topic has been discussed on this forum before but here goes.

I have a Sony DVMC-DA2 Media Converter hooked up to a firewire card on Windows XP. I can capture video just fine on the Windows XP Movie Maker program but when I try to capture from SF Capture software my device isn’t recognized. (All the print-to-tape, record buttons, etc, are grayed out) I took the advice of tech support and read the comprehensive Acrobat document “Troubleshooting with OHCI Complient devices” posted on their site. One thing it mentions to do is check to see if I have the correct drivers by checking the device status line and to make sure I have “Microsoft DV Camera & VCR “ showing. Indeed I do. Still no luck with capture or Print to tape. Being new to this I’m not sure if I have the correct drivers loaded. Nothing in my add/remove programs make reference to TI drivers.

What am I missing here?

Disable DV device control in the General Prefs, unless you have the LANC connected.

thanks! I'm almost there. I can now capture but still not able to print to tape. I'm pretty sure I have my Sony DVMC-DA2 Media Converter connections hooked up correctly. The Status Line in SF Capture 2.0 program says "Microsoft DV Camera & VCR, No device control". and I get no preview when print-to-tape is selected. I've tried every possible scenario but still no luck getting the image from my computer back to my S-VHS recorder.
So the current connection is:

Media Convertor "Out"(Input Select button is DV in)to S-VHS "In" on my VHS Recorder. What might I be overlooking here?

Video Capture's Print to Tape tab, toggle Preview on Device. This should be the test to ensure you have proper connections setup.
