Captures and edits fine but can't output to tape

I've been capturing from my sony trv-520 with SF video capture then I have been using vegas to edit (keeping file format the same by matching) and then rendering avi. No prob. Then I go to output to tape and I get stuttering sound and video. Often, vid cap crashes as soon as I turn my camera on for print to tape mode with the following error:

SFVIDCAP caused an invalid page fault in

It captures fine and edits and renders well... I've got a AMD 1Ghz, 512 RAM, a 45GB app disk and a 60gb dedicated file disk - both IBMs at 7200rpm. MY DV firewire card is a pinnacle. I've tried booting up with my camera on, off, starting vidcap with it on, off etc and every other conceivable combination. I've tried reinstalling the firewire card, use the MS driver, have the current version of vidcap and so on. It's been three months now of troubleshooting. I'm posting here because i feel I've exhausted trouble shooting combinations. Please help me! Janus

1.Did u render avi file is for dv ?
2.Before u print to type,u must turn on you dv ,
that open the vedio capture to print,
if also error, try print to type from other program,
like vedio studio 5 bet I think pinnacle have
it`s program to print.
try it !!!!!
