Capturing analog video

I have in my PC Hauppauge WnTV-HVR 713x BDA Analog capture and Pinnacle 500- PCI cards. Vegas Muvie Studio Paltinum (9.0a) give information, when I try to capture analog video (8 mm) as follows:
The device `Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 713x BDA Analog Capture`could not be opened.
Please make sure that it is turned on and is not used by another appilication or user.
I get the sane information with Pinnacle 500-PCI. With Pinnacle studio 11 Plus they works both correctly.
I don´t know what to do! What means `could not be opened`. because both cards are useable (they works in Pinnacle very well). Can somebody help me, how I get them to work in Vegas!

You probably won't get either card working from within Vegas' capture application. You can capture from the Pinnacle card in Pinnacle. You can capture with the Hauppauge card in either Pinnacle or the capture application that Hauppauge supplies. In either case you can then use the files you captured in Vegas for editing.

Yes, I can do so, but in Sony Video Capture screen -> Video, there I can see both Hauppauge and Pinnacle cards. Why does Vegas see them, but don´t capture by them?
I don´t understand this!
