Capturing results in NO VIDEO

Hi there!
When i`m in the Capture-Mode of VEGAS i can see the Video of my CAM.Everything seems working....but,after i stop capturing,it says:"No Video was captured".

Is there something i have to configure in the Preferences?
Has someone a hint?

Can you see the video from the camera in the capture window?
If not you sure wont be capturing any video.

How is the camera connected to the PC?
And what sort of camera?

Go into the capture preferences and turn OFF the "Minimum Clip Length" option.
