Capturing Stills....

I'm looking at recovering some still from a .mov file I made of several
pictures from a recent trip. Will Vegas Video do video capture of stills
and save them off to a .gif/.tiff/.jpeg/etc format? I purchased Vegas
because having read the box is seemed so, but, before cracking the
license I read the manual and it doesn't look like it will.

The video capture tool will save stills as you capture. Vegas can copy a still to the Windows clipboard, which you can paste into photoshop or whatever and save.

VideoFactory2 saves the still from the Video Preview window, and Vegas 3 (when shipped) will also do that.
