Capturing Video/Audio...

I am confused...
I have a MiniDV Panasonic GS300.
I am using the new Platinum 8.
While capturing video I can hear the audio.
However, once the video is captured, I do not have associated audio.
What am I doing wrong?

Are you capturing with USB?

If so, try using Firewire (IEEE 1394, or called "iLink" by Sony). I think USB captures might result in a Type 1 AVI file, and Vegas/VMS like Type 2 files.

Are you using the Sony VidCap program? Or using software that came with your camera for the capture?
