Capturing video, is there a timer to start

I am pretty used to capturing some of these tv programs with other software packages. But i really like the quality that i get whil capturing with vegas, is there something that i can do or an option that allows me to start capture at a certain time? I found the property that sets how long to capture for, but now i am missing what time to start the capture.

I don't know if this is in the software (probably not) but is there a way that i can accomplish that?

Thanks.

Hi John,

You might try RemoteKeys, a freeware macro app... it can press buttons for you at specified times.

More info on RemoteKeys here (click on "Macros"):

What settings do you use in the capture setting to record your tv shows? Do you select it from Project Video Properties. I tried to capture a program using my ATI all in wonder card had my vcr hooked up to it by rca cables I saw the video but was unable to capture. Any ideas why and what format would it capture under?
