Card to replace ATI Radeon 8500DV?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a card to replace the ATI Radeon 8500DV? We've been using this and similar ATI cards for the past five years to capture stills from video for printing to hard copy and for exporting PowerPoint presentations from the computer to tape. The card supports S-VHS and composit as well as Firewire. We're using it in one of our computers now in conjunction with Vegas.

ATI has discontinued the card. We're about to upgrade three computers, and I'd like to upgrade the I/0 card as well.

Any thoughts on a card that has capabilities similar to the 8500 DV?

ATI doesn't have any other DV video cards, do they? Also, almost all of the ATI AIW series (the 7500 and later) are pretty much the same in the capture dept. They will still update drivers though (with the Catalyst).

If you wanted a new ATI card, try one of the newer AIW's. But, the newwer ones will only bring advancements in gaming, not capture.

Or get the canapus ACDVIO. It's does firewire, plus analog in/out. You will still need a video card though, so i don't suggest getting rid of your 8500DV.
