NICE ONE EDWARD!!

In my own particular drive to continually invite creatives to get more from this FABULOUS software, I really recommend Edward's latest, highly creative approach to getting a "Cartoon Look" from Vegas . .. .

. .hereyah goes . . .. . and look for the Newsletter section . .yeh you will have to register . . no biggie there . .. .

Grazie, try it with the Sharpen filter.

Then try it with the Sharpen filter cranked up and then bring down the bump height.

Actually, I have a similar tutorial on my web site for over a year now on how to get the Pencil Sketch look. At the end I mention that if you don’t apply the B&W filter you will get a pastel painting look which is what Ed did. You might want to check it out.

Between Donatello's technique, Johnny Roy's technique, and Edwards technique, there are a lot of sweet methods to accomplish this, eh?
Grazie, you need to get out more. There are 2 previous tutorials on this format, (although they're all slightly different than Edwards) that go back a couple years.

I get out! I just went to my local curry house for a vegetarian 2 course lunch! Hey I know it aint Hawaii or the Far East . . or whatever . .but I do get out!

Marquat, are you kidding about the Mosh video? and about the MTV video awards? Just some pre-election humor? It was obviously done as animation to begin with. Eminem is on video and then composited to the other animation.


Anyhow here are the credits for that video. So they used After Effects, 3d software and several artists.
