CC can't recognize some Turkish characters

Subtitling a video in Vegas Pro 10..but 2-3 characters Vegas can't recognize so cut them off totally... anyone know something about that??
(the characters are the > Ş< >ğ<)

Does the font you are using have them? If not, Vegas cannot display them. So, try a different font.

Hi RP thanks for the answer...but i think its not a font issue....its closed caption, no font selection

Oh, sorry. There are several CC standards. The one used in ATSC, for example, encodes CC as text and only supports certain characters. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EIA-708#Caption_Stream_Encoding.
