After reading all about the CD-A and sonic foundry's ultra wise decision to stop supporting it (of course I am being sarcastic). I was trying to get CD-A 4.0g (build 358) working with Both Windows XP Pro, My new Plextor 40x burner and of course Sound Forge 5.0.
Up to this point I have been able to get all to work with the exception of MP3s in Sound forge XP. Not a huge loss considering that I use SF 5.0 for my editing and only SF XP to get to CD-A.
I found this link while searching thru the message boards:

That might help get your CD-A to work with your new burner. It worked well with mine.
This is the order I installed my Sonic foundry software
1. Sound Forge 5.0
2. CD-A (sound forge xp) 4.0e
3. Downloaded the last update for CD-A 4.0g (build (358))
Restarted windows XP Pro and all works fine.
Be sure to have CD-A (Sound forge XP) installed into a different directory.
Kind of ironic that CD-A comes with a program called Sound Forge XP and isn't designed for use with XP at all- But it still seams to work.
I have just made 2 CD's and both work great.
Good Luck!!
Regards,
Frank
