CD Architect incompatible with Win ME?

I have contacted Sonic Foundry support and have been
informed that CD Architect is discontinued. I've also been
told that it is not compatible with Win Me. I'm curious if
anyone has tried it on Win Me? Also, is anyone aware if
Sonic Foundry will at the very least update CD Architect
for the Win Me platform?

I don't know if it's "incompatible" or not, but it works
great for me in WinME.

I've made 600+ CDs in ME with CDA and I haven't made a
coaster yet. Just make certain that you've downloaded and
installed the last update (version g) from the update page.

Also make absolutely certain that you follow the
recommendations about defragging your HD, that nothing else
is running in the backgound, etc.

Thankyou very much for the info. I thought something
sounded fishy to me when the rep. told me that? That's
good advice too. I always make a point to defrag the hard
drive before any big music project or CD-Burning. Better
to be safe than sorry.
