CD Installation & Download Locations Different

When I installed from CD the programs were put in my "programs" folder. When I went to download the update it was put in my "users" folder.

Sony's instruction for installing downloaded updates says to double-click the program then follow the instructions. Is it at this point that the program merges?

Is it at this point that the program merges?Correct. It doesn't matter where the update program is downloaded. After you click Next a few times it will tell you what directory in C:\Program Files it will be installed to. Should be the same as current version.
