Yes, it certainly can. No plugins at all are required to 'master' a 100% compliant redbook CD .

The supplied plugins are for the 'audio mastering' subjective sound side of things, which could be considered an 'extra' function.

audio mastering is what i mean, to put the levels at reb book audio standards. what plugins are needed to do this?

Redbook specs have nothing to do with levels (apart from maybe a maximum number of consecutive FS samples).

You need *no* plugins to optimise levels. Using the normalise function (on 'peak') will maximise your audio levels without causing 'overs', but that's basic audio mastering, and nothing to do with Red Book compatibilty.

I like having PSP's Mix and Stereo Pack, and SilverSpike's Reverb-It handy also...but that's just me...
