CD Writing Wizard

My apologies if this has been asked before. I used the search option but didn't find an answer to my problem. Using VF2.0c and when choosing to make a movie to Video CD (using a CD-RW) , it goes through the entire process and says it is finished with no errors, but at the end the CD is ejected and a dialog appears stating "Cannot complete the CD Writing Wizard".

If I put the disc back in it tells me it needs a blank disk.

I'm doing something wrong?

what kind of drive and media are you using?

I'm using an HP 9710i CD-RW drive with CD-RW disks.

Have you used the CD-RW disk before? Did you erase it before you tried to burn with VF?

Yes, I start with it erased. VF burns it, says everything is done, I click on finish and that's when the CD Wizard dialog pops open. I've burned MP3's on the CD-RW with no problems so as far as I can tell, the drive works properly. I'm using WinXP home edition in case I didn't mention that before.

Have you tried another CD-RW? Try a fresh one that hasn't been used before just to make sure there are no problems with the media.

One last silly question. Does the CD seem to be burned okay? Is it a possibility that the Wizard is just crapping out but the CD is fine?

Just a thought.
