Hi All,
Let me make a blanket statement about CDPBurn support. If you get the message "Cannot Set Write Parameters", your drive doesn't conform strictly enough to the MMC spec. Unfortunately, from my perspective, there is little hope of having the drive work with CDPBurn aside from the manufacturer provoding a firmware upgrade which improves MMC compliance (very unlikely), or if CD Burner companies decide to start sending me drives and documentation (even more unlikely) such that I can add support.
So, if you really want to use CDPBurn and have this problem, you have two options:
1) Buy a new recorder (I recommend Plextor)
2) Lobby companies to give me documentation and sample drives.
