Okay, I rendered a WAVE file in vegas
then a mp2 file

took both of them into dvdit perfectly
burned a cDVD disk

play it back on my computer
after 4 minutes into the video, the audio drops out completely.
The audio and video are synched perfectly on powerdvd.

can anyone tell me why, all of a sudden, the stupid audio drops out?

it is pcm 48khz wave uncompressed dvd compliant

sonic foundry, your comments? any problems with dvdit? anyone have vv3 / dvdit combo?

help!!!!

I had a very similar problem but was using myDVD instead of DVDit. Got around it by using TEMPGenc for the MPEG2 encoding rather than in Vegas (rendered the Vegas file as AVI, then converted to MPEG2 via TEMPGenc). That doesn't answer why it happens in the first place, but it works for me. Would still like to get it to work without the extra step, but you might try this in the meantime.
