Hi Jason,

I've been using a 366 celeron with Vegas, no problem. Since you're
talking about a new system, be sure to get 7200 rpm drives with the
ATA-66 interface and a Promise Technology Ultra66 PCI to ATA-66
card. This requires the new 80 wire, 40 pin IDE cable, which comes
with the Promise card. Possibly your new motherboard will have that
interface on board, but the add-in card is less than $50 if not.
Fast disk 'sustained' throughput is a big help with digital audio
work.

Regards,
Rick Z
