Censoring media?

Anyone know how to do a pixelated-censorship area over part of a video? or a blur?

I can put a black censor-bar as a static image, then use Pan-n-Crop to move it around on the video, but I'd really like to pixelate or blurg a limited region.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Put two identical copies of the video on the timeline, one on a track above the other, in sync. Add the pixellate effect to one of the clips, and also add the cookie cutter effect. This will let you show only part of the pixellated version with the rest of the frame containing the non-pixellated version. If you have Vegas Studio 6 or higher you can use keyframes to move and resize the pixellated area.
