Change default highlighted button?

Hi:

I tried to find this in the manual and in Steve's book, but haven't located it.

I have a number of features on my menu page. After playing a feature, the "Back" button is automatically highlighted. Is there a way to adjust this so that it goes to the next feature in the list?

I tried to do this by selecting the next feature in End Action, but instead of highlighting that feature, it began playing.

I appreciate any input.

Jon

When you set the End Action make the Destination the menu and then choose the required Destination button.

The 1st button created on a DVDA menu is the default. You can also change the order in the tree on the left. You can set it after the fact with PGCEdit. And you can specify the button in DVDA when you have an action as in Mike's earlier post.

If you want to customize behaviors further, put in dummy menus &/or videos to attach actions &/or scripts to. Set menus to auto-activate & with a black background they are pretty much un-noticeable. I keep a set of 15 frame, black mpg2 clips to insert for the same purpose... If whatever you want to happen is with menus, use those -- for video use the clips -- & you'll have less chance of a delay from the player moving to another domain or section of the DVD.

Thank you! to both.

It sounds like I should have been able to figure it out...(blush). Guess I should have tried a little harder.

Great tips on the dummy clips, too. One of the players I test my DVDs on has a long delay when switching domains.
