Change installer location?

Hi all,

I have bought Sony Vegas recently from the website. However, the installer somehow only installs the setup files in the documents folder. Which is locked at my work due to safety reasons. How can I change the location? I tried extracting the setup files on another pc. But somehow when installing, everything needs to be set up in the documents folder again.

 

Any suggestions?

Bought recently? The last version of Sony Vegas (13) was released in 2014!

You could also download the unpacked installer filss from here and place them in your Downloads folder or elsewhere.
Otherwise I do not see a file path option when running the installation 'manager'. Contact support for a definitive answer if it can be changed. However you may not need to open documents if you are installing directly from the Vegas 'installation manager' which downloads (unpacks) the full installer files and initiates installation automatically. If you do need to access "Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager" and you only need to open it once. Afterward the unpacked installer files can be deleted if so desired.
