Change text color when highlighted in a menu?

DVDA 5.2 Win XP

I want to use a couple of text-only buttons on a project that change color (say, from black to a brighter color) when highlighted. I don't want to use a button background or border if possible. Just want to try using a text-only arrangement.

I can't figure out how to do this, or if it can be done in DVDA. Anyone know who can guide me on this? Thanks

I show you how to do it in my book (on Amazon) if you're interested.

1. Select a button and, in Button Properties, go to Highlight and select the Style. It sounds like you want the Text Mask style.

2. Go to Color Sets and set the Fill Color to the color you want for your highlight.
