change the projekt properties

Hi, I was thinking to see if I can create a slideshow for some picture.
I was thinking to edit the projekt properties so it have same size as the image (when I render I going to scale it to something smaller)
But the properties don't let me change the size even when I want to custom my own size, It just go back to the 1920x1080. But then I get a border on the both side.

After you type in the new frame size, be sure to click the Save Template button (looks like a floppy disk, located to the right of the template dropdown). Then click OK and your setting should stick.

You aren't allowed to go higher than 1920x1080 for the frame size in VMS Platinum 9, though.

The project properties aren't the way to fit the image.

Event Pan/Crop is your friend. Learn how to use it in the Vegas Tutorials and Help included with your program.
