I have video of a football game taken from two different angles (1 from each side of the field). I edited and match up the timing to each video and spliced both videos to the same length in Vegas Pro 8. I thought I would try and add some convenience to the DVD I was creating by adding “buttons on video” so the angle track could be change on screen while the DVD was playing. But have found that by changing the angle this way, the new angle always starts at the very beginning of either the video (when the command is set to resume) or at the beginning of the destination chapter (when the command is set to link). I of course want the video to continue from the same point no matter which track/angle is selected, just as it would if you use the remotes angle button. I have tried to write a script for this and still cannot get the video to continue from the same point after it changes tracks/angles. Since purchasing Vegas Pro 8/DVD Architect, I have been very amazed at the amount of options to manipulate videos compare to other software programs. But I think I have finally found something it cannot do. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
