Changing AVI File Properties

Whenever I import HD AVI files (1920x1080) produced by the Canopus HQ codec into an HDV project, the field order is wrong (Vegas sees it as UFF rather than LFF). I then manually change it to correct field order using the propeties dialog. While this works OK, it is cumbersome if there are lots of files. Moreover, if I copy these files into another Vegas project, I have to correct field order again. Question--is there any way to simultaneously change properties of multiple files (rather than one at a time) or set the default properties so Vegas recognizes correct field order? Thanks in advance.

To match your project properties with those of your source media, hit the Match Media Settings button in the upper right corner of the Project Properties dialog, then select the file whose properties you want to use.

To tell Vegas to use these settings as the default, check the box that says "Start all new projects with these settings".
