Changing level of audio track in DVDA-2

I have just successfully created my first simple DVD project - 2 videos selected from buttons on the menu page (one small step for Biggles...)

I used a piece of music as the background audio track on my menu page but the volume is way too high. Is there some way (that I am overlooking) of tweaking the volume inside DVDA-2 or do I have to do this beforehand?

Tell me that isn't so....

As far as I know, you'll need to go back to Vegas and re-render the audio at the appropriate volume level, then re-prepare the project in DVDA.

Audio renders pretty quickly though.

Yep, a bit more experimenting this afternoon revealed that!

Seems a pity though! It would be so much more convenient to adjust an envelope inside DVDA.

But if you could "adjust the evelope" inside DVDA, then DVDA would have to re-encode the audio. Vegas is better suited for editing / encoding purposes in all respects. I don't know much about AC3, but I also imagine that it would be better to adjust and encode the original (uncompressed?) audio source than to adjust and re-encode (and re-compress) the AC3.

Vegas: Editor.
DVDA: DVD assembler.
