Changing program language of VEGAS 21

I installed VEGAS 21.0 on my laptop under Japanese system locale, assuming I could install it in English like previous versions I had installed. I've tried everything I can think of, including changing locale back and reinstalling, but to no avail. I don't want to install on a separate computer just to use the program in English, so any help is appreciated!
Note: I am working on a Windows 11 OS. If I need to post additional details, I will follow up.

Yeah i also got it from the fanatical sale and i think they just sent us a japanese region locked license, i tried putting my serial number in the english installer and it didnt work

Japanese licenses are region locked as part of a contractual agreement with our distributor in that country.

The Fanatical sale does say it is for the English language version. But then I do not have anything but an "English" computer. The price is great for it.

Reading through the add, it does say this program will activate in Poland, but I wonder if the language would change?

People seem to have gotten Fanatical to provide proper English licenses when requested.
