Changing Text Color

BunMan wrote on 7/28/2004, 11:16 AM
I have been playing with the demo version of DVD architect for about a week now, and I just realized that I can't seem to change the color of the text when I insert a new text box. I played with all the color set stuff, but I don't think that has anything to do with plain old text color. Tell me if I am wrong, and how to correct this if anyone knows.
Thanks.

Select your text box so that the text toolbar appears (where you change the font, size, alignment, etc). On that toolbar is a white box with a down arrow next to it. Click the white box to choose from a selection of colors or the arrow to create a more customized color. If you want to match a color that you're already using in your background somewhere, click the arrow and use the eye-dropper tool to select the color.

You're right, color sets are not used for standard menu text. Color sets are used for button highlights and for subtitle text.

I still couldn't figure out what the heck you were seeing, and then I realized that part of the edit window was covered by the properties window.
Thanks for letting me know that it should be there so I would look for it.
Thanks
