Changing the color of a part of the text

Hi there , i want to know how can i change the color of a part of the text in the vegas pro 16 !? i mean for example i have this text :

www.hifrench.com and i want to change the color of "DOTS" to red and the others stay for example white (www & hifrench & com)! if i change it , whole the text will be changed but i don't want it ! please help me there's any way or not !

The easiest way might be to use the ProType Titler which allows to modify single letters.

I would create the text as png graphics with my favourite graphics editor, and put it to the timeline. This works well, if the text does not need animations. (Scrolling or moving on the screen is not animation)

hi again ! in this way you said taht i can use the ProType Titler but i cant not animate it ! there is a solution or not ?

i chose collection but when i double click on one of the items it appeared another text and nothing happen on my text ... for example if i select "fly in" animation it is applied on another default text not on my text ... thank you so much

Place the red DOT, with a transparent background in a credit roll, on the track above the main credit roll. Align the DOT and match the speed of the two credit rolls. This also works for drop shadow in a credit roll using Legacy Text. It's not elegant but it works.

You need to select to desired collection first, then modify the existing sample text.

You might also look at Titler Pro which will let you change the color of each letter individually.
