Vegas+DVD appears to work nicely but my finished DVD-R has three issues:
1) chapter point numbers do not appear on my set-top player (Pioneer DV-343).
2) I cannot view elapsed time on the player
3) On the player remote, the "return", "menu", and "top menu" buttons all do the same thing: return to the top menu only. There seems no way to return to the "previous" menu, as if for example you selected a scene from a sub-menu.
I also own and use Ulead DVD-Workshop which does not have these limitations. I purchased Vegas+DVD for the AC3 audio feature, but it would be nice if the above problems were fixed. I gather they can be fixed by tedious manual hacking of the IFO files with IfoEdit ( http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/Derrow/ ), but of course it would be preferable for DVD-A to create the correct files in the first place.
