Chapter Marker Buttons Not Appearing in DVDA 5

I have a movie rendered in SVMS 12 saved on my hard drive with 4 chapter markers. When I open DVDA 5, I get the standard blue menu background. I navigate to my movie and drag it into the menu background. In the project overview window I am trying to get 4 links to appear for buttons to a scene selection menu. I was able to do this once before, but now I can't get the links to appear.

Last time I made the movie from SVMS 12 and clicked make movie which opened DVDA. The movie was already there and so were the links.

Any ideas as to how to get this to work again? I even rendered the movie again giving it a different name, but can't get the links to appear.

Thanks,

Mike

Did you include markers where you want them in the clips in your SVMS timeline? And make sure the "insert I frames at markers" box in the mpeg-2 render properties is checked. See if that does it.

I will check that in properties. I did insert them in SVMS manually before rendering.

I presume things are the same as with Vegas Pro.

When you render your video from Vegas to say fred.mpg, another file called fred.mpg.sfl containing the markers is also created. This must be in the same folder as fred.mpg. Do not rename fred.mpg, because the name is imbedded in the .sfl file
