chapter markers upon render

im trying to have more precise playhead seek using JW Player and JW said i needed precise keyframes.

so using handbrake,

from handbrake support:

HandBrake will automatically insert a keyframe on chapter breaks - when the source has chapters.

it was pointed out on the handbrake forums that in order to get keyframes i would have to do AVC renders in Vegas

in case anyone wonders, yes...with the keyframes JW fires exactly as expected (now just bummed about the less qual...but will do more test AVC renders

seems like its really hard to get the same small file sizes and quality as i was with handbrake.

any tips on AVC renders ?

there are lots of other render options. if anyone know of one that is close to HB in quality and allows for keyframes please let me know (because mainconcept is not that great)

OK after testing there is just no way mainconcept is close to hb...might have to change my web presentation - not that big of deal to run singles VS cahpters in JW...
