Chapters and iPod

I'd like to render a video to iPod and include chapter markers so that the iPod can search to them. Is this possible?

Unfortunately only on a mac :(

I edit a few podcasts and we have switched over to AAC format because of better coverage itunes provides for AAC format podcasts. This has entailed buying a mac for the sole purpose of adding chapters and images to the files.
