A bit of a trivial annoyance, but when you start Vegas 21, then if you ask to check if there is a new software version, the popup which informs you of software updates (or driver updates) is hidden behind the Vegas window. After you close the popup (via the windows task bar) or via minimizing Vegas, any subsequent requests do appear in front of Vegas (as a popup should behave).
Anyone else has this behavior?
I do not like to waste time waiting for answers in popups which are hidden.
That's a problem with some versions on some systems. Rather that minimize the window to close the popup, try just hitting Enter.
If you hover over the VEGAS icon on the toolbar, it should show both windows and you can just click on the one you want to see. I've also done some scripting in Premiere and the first time Premiere opens a script with a window, that window gets shown behind the main program window (works fine all subsequent times) so this isn't necessarily a "VEGAS" issue.
@jetdv Yes indeed, I suspect as well that Vegas is "not to blame", and that it is just a windows peculiarity.
However, I just checked (on the same system) windows 19 and windows 20, and there the popup is displayed in front of Vegas, and not behind...
So maybe it is still a Vegas 21 problem, not a windows issue...
