I want to source a firewire cable that has a left angled 4-pin and about 8' to a male 6-pin flat - AND in Chicago.

Fletcher - Chicago, and SMS Productions are two leading rental supply houses, but the cable you're looking for is sold by www.markertek.com in NY. 15 ft is FW6-4RA-15 ($22.00 and 6ft is FW6-4RA-6($19.00). Can't really tell if it is right or left handed. I suggest that you order on internet and have it sent to your hotel (3 days ground UPS).

CDW is the biggest computer mailorder outfit and they are located in Vernon Hills, a suburb North of Chicago. I believe thay also have a retail outlet downtown. Check them out at www.cdw.com
