Choosing a layer break point

Hi,
How can I select a layer break point for a dual layer disc before the project renders? I left my computer rendering the project overnight because it took 7hrs to render. When I came in this morning, I selected to burn previously prepared project, and before it started to burn it prompted me to add a chapter in a specific video in a range of time so that it could make the layer break.

Now I am having to re-render the project again! There has to be an easier way!
Help please!
Thank you,
Rafa.

In DVDA, you must place the layer break point before you begin your render. If when you are in Vegas Pro, you can use a marker, which when you bring your project into DVDA, will automatically use that as your layer break.

Rafa,

AFAIK you can set a marker in DVDA afterwards, you don't have to re-render in Vegas.

hey guys!
Thanks for your help.
I meant I had to re-render in Architect because I added the chapter break after it told me it needed one. I guess what I need to do is add a chapter marker to all video every 5 to 10 minutes so that I have these options when DVD A is ready for burning. Correct?
