Ok, I've established in previous posts that I'm a newbie in this world. Well, to be exact I'm a newbie in the digital world. I've worked with community television for years, but only with analog. They just now purchased some nice sony dvcams. Anyways, to get to the real question. How do you use the chroma key and mask generator. I know this is a broad question. Usually, I am able to learn all the functions from tinkering, but for some reason I cannot figure this one out.

Here's what I've been tryin:
I created an animated title in the swish program
Made the backround solid blue and the text black
Exported swish file to .avi
Imported .avi to Vegas
and from there is where I'm lost. How do I impose my animation at the begining of my video? Do I add the chroma key effect to the animation or to the video? What do I do with the Mask Generator? What settings do I use?
