Chroma Key problem

I have noticed this before with improted Canopus files but this time it is footage captured through V-4.

There are thin black vertical lines on the far left and far right of my footage that needs to be keyed. This is usually not a problem because they are in the overscan area but when I crop the image down they show up and because they are black do not key, as key color is blue in this case.

How do I get rid of them and why are they there?

Footage captured from a Sony DRS-200a 720X480 NTSC

Thank you,

Rick

Try Pan/Crop to slightly trim the edges. This is pretty common as it happens with the XL-1 footage as well. I believe these cameras only record 712x480 so you get 4 pixels of black on each side to get it up to the 720x480. (712 may be the wrong number)

Stange because they only appears in Vegas 3 and 4. No other app shows the lines.
