Chroma Keyer

I bought the old version of Vegas years ago, worked fine. Recently went to use it again, video is fuzzy and chome keyer doesn't work at all anymore. Tested the new version, Vegas pro 23, trial bases, video no longer looked fuzzy, but chome keyer still doesn't work. Will not buy if it can not be corrected

The green becomes just black back ground, not transparent. I've tried to get the back ground picture, higher, lower, nothing works.

Here's an example of it with 23. The bright cyan is actually green that is keyed out. It would look black as there's no background except that I put a solid color (cyan) beneath it.

Personally I prefer the color corrector secondary for fine tuning color transparency.

I have used the chrome key before, Never had a problem before. I tried it all different settings, nothing works.

@Francis-Resch You've got it on 'Video Output fx' which is the fx at the top of the preview window, this option affects all the events on the timeline.

Try dragging the chroma keyer on to the track header so it is in Track fx or on to each individual event.

I put it on the event in my screenshot and it works.
