chroma keying bug...

Another strange Vegas 5 related bug: i can't get the lower track visible if i do not apply a track motion or crop change on the chromakeyed video. I just get a black bgnd altough the key behave correctly. Any help for this?

It seems to me that V5 generate a lot of little annoyances (but no crash style bugs) , i never had with previous versions.

I ran into something like this couple weeks ago.

I think it was related to the effect being in the track or in the event. It worked correctly one way (in the track or in the event) and incorrectly (transparent portion was all black) the other.

Try moving the effect to the event (or from the event to the track).

The compositing model has changed in V5 so some operations will be different. If chromakey is applied at the track level, make the key track a parent track (one click).

Thanks, this is true, altough somewhat bizarre. I have to put an empty child track below to make this works...
