Chroma Keying FX has changed?

Chroma Keying FX has it changed ?
on movie studio i could do it but now that i have up graded to 6 + dvd
what i have is a monster that has a green back ground
and i have a still photo of a hall way
i cant remove the green screen with out loseing photo
is there a easy way to do this
i have tryed for 2 hours ..............i have tryed to use green screen and blue
i got the download ..........with out the books i feel lost
please any info
what did i miss

Don't know what's wrong, but there's no need to be without the manual with downloaded versions - the manual is also downloadable in pdf form so you can either read onscreen or print out.

Sorry I was no direct help - not sure I understood the question ...

Is the still photo meant to be the background on which you're trying to superimpose the monster?

If so, put the still on a lower track. Monster on higher track, apply Chroma FX and use eye dropper to select the green or whatever background colour you want to lose.

Any good?
