Chroma Keying issue

Hi,

I'm new to using Vegas Pro 15 and am having an issue with the chroma key in which it doesn't actually create a transparent background, just a black one.

I've looked at a bunch of the tutorials and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. These are the chroma key settings I'm using.

This is the video I'm trying to display it on.

You have checked Split Screen View button on preview window

Yeah but even when unchecked, its still black

What is Compositing mode of your track with green screen event?
Try "Source Alpha"

It's Source Alpha on all the video tracks

Your screenshot shows that you are applying the effect as "output fx". You should apply as event fx or media fx.
