Cineform and Media Manager

I have a many HDV clips that I've converted to Cineform and have no problem editing them. But media manager will not find them!

I've tried searching for them and dragging a file right into the media manager window, neither works.

Media Manager will recognize regular HDV files, as well as everything else. Is this a common problem?

Thanks

I'm currently using the Cineform NEO demo and I am able to see Cineform clips in Media Manger (Vegas 7.0d). My guess is that if you do not have the Cineform codec you may need to install the free Cineform player from the Cineform website.

Hope this helps,

Marc

Hi Marc,
Thanks, I downloaded and installed NEO player, but am not sure what to do with it...
after installing, I still can't get the files into media manager.

I can put them in the timeline, the trimmer, and the project media bins, but not into media manager, which seems strange.

I just got them to show up, don't know why exactly.

They don't have any of the auto tags of the other files that came in at the same time, nor do the show up in any of the scan categories. But they're there!

Clearly I overlooked something....
