CineForm De-interlace Option

I've been playing the demo version of CineForm HDV and I'm having a hard time determining if I should use this option. I shoot with a Canon XH A1 and a HV20.

Should I enable the De-interlace option? What would be the optimal settings for CeniForm using these cameras?

I'm editing using Vegas Pro 8b.

The Cineform de-interlace process works well but loses vertical resolution. DVFilmMaker does a much better job. Your first question has to be "do I need to de-interlace" (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=604863when de-interlace needed[/link])
